Workshop Services & Costing

We have categorised and broken down our workshop costs and services as much as possible. However there are some things that might not be listed below to give you an indication of what it could cost.

General service

General service, including wheel truing - $50

* This includes all types of bikes such as: BMX, Road, MTB, Kids and general.

Parts Fitted

  • Sprocket, Cranks and Bottom Bracket - $25
  • Head Set - $15
  • Chain - $10
  • Spoke Tension -$15 (per wheel)

Wheel Build

Wheel builds: $35 (per wheel)

All custom wheel builds are free if Rim, Hub and spokes are purchased from Helensvale BMX.

Gyro holes

Gyro holes drilled and threaded - $50

Tube Changes

Tubes vary from $5 to $12

  • Labour if wheel is still on the bike - $8
  • Wheel alone - $3.50

Brake Fitting

Labour to fit and adjust brakes for:

  • Straight Cable - $15
  • Gyro set up - $25

Complete Bike Builds

Complete bike build - $100
All custom bikes are built for free if all parts are purchased from Helensvale BMX.

Powder Coating - Read More

To strip and rebuild bike for powder coating with full service included - $120

Powder Coating basic colours:

  • Frames - $140
  • Bars - $50
  • Forks - $50
  • Cranks - $50
